My gallery is open!

My gallery is – finally- open. For years, I’ve wanted my own place to show my photography in the way it was meant to be seen: printed by a professional on quality paper with deep, rich blacks and whites, and warm colors. I work with galleries all over the world.

Every time I receive an email from my valued contact person about a sale, I feel very happy and blessed that there are still so many people interested in the images I shot over 40 years ago.

But I don’t get to speak to the buyers. Don’t see the glint in their eyes. Can’t tell them my stories in person. And I love that. So, it was high time for my own gallery to be added to the mix.

We converted the addition to my houseboat on the Vecht in Weesp as a dedicated gallery. We spent a long time on selecting the images to be printed, the framing, the lighting, and the décor. Often when people visit, they say it looks like a cozy museum. I went for the feel of a living room from the ‘70s, where you remember the first time you heard Sgt. Pepper or another beloved album.

I love looking around and remembering all the good, fun, and crazy times I had with these people. Wanna join me on a trip down memory lane? Then I hope to see you at the gallery some day soon.

The gallery is open by appointment. See contact page.
