“Take me to the Matador,” sang Garland Jeffreys in 1979.
That same year, I had the opportunity to take some really cool, posed shots of him at the Pulitzer Hotel in Amsterdam. 

Garland was a really sweet guy. And I’m sure he still is. 
Because his wife made a documentary about him.

She contacted me a few years ago, saying she was going to make this documentary and now it’s streaming on Amazon Prime, Google Play, YouTube, Xumo and Tubi.
