Van Morrison will be performing at the Holland International Blues Festival in Grolloo, the Netherlands, on June 19.

I photographed him live in Amsterdam in 1977. He was joined on the piano by Dr John, the Night Tripper.

My favorite Van Morisson album was Astral Weeks and later Moondance.
I also listened to the song Gloria about a million times. 

I don’t recognize any of the other names performing at the Grolloo Blues Festival. 
Time to listen to some new artists!
