What a life!
I was listening to Cher talk about her Memoir – Part one, on the Howard Stern show. Not for everyone, I know, but I do think he’s a great interviewer. 

Cher talked about her youth, her upbringing, meeting Sonny at 16 years old, how her father took her away from her mother. 

Some very traumatic stuff!

When I was working at a camera store in L.A., in 1971, I was asked to photograph the 3rd birthday party of Sonny & Cher’s little girl. I remember talking to Sonny a lot. He was quite a good photographer and he showed me a bunch of photos he made of Cher. He sure had a great model. 

Cher recently turned 80 years old, but the first part of her memoir was published back in 2024. Part 2 is scheduled to be released on November 17, 2026.
